This route has never been offered before, and we've created it in collaboration with our Kyrgyz friend and horse whisperer, Timur, to give you a truly unique experience. Together with our experienced guides you and 9 other travelers will be led through the breathtaking landscapes of Kyrgyzstan.
It's about living in and with nature, immersing yourself in the wild beauty of Kyrgyzstan, and deeply connecting - with your fellow travelers, your trusted horse, and ultimately, with yourself.
For us it's one of the greatest joys to bring you closer to our adventures. To make you feel the same spirit. So of course there will be trips that you can do along with one of us. Sadly we can't join all of the trips, but that's exactly why we created the community trips.
This year we wanted to give more of you the chance to join. So we handpicked Anna & Toni. Two amazing women with the same energy, spirit and depth we stand for. They will guide the trips alongside our local team. Same adventure. Same spirit. Same magic - pinky promise.
ADVENTURE - NOT LUXURY
We'll be crossing deep rivers, conquering mountains passes, sleep under the stars, be fully disconnected, shower in rivers, connect with ourselves, each other and the horses and have the time of our lives. Speaking from our own experience, we never expected how life-changing this whole trip would be.
We're not here for comfort. We're here for adventure. You’ll experience the full mix - from a cozy hotel at the beginning, to traditional yurts, to wild camping under the stars. Privacy will be limited, but we promise that by the end of this journey, you'll leave with a group of new friends.
If you've followed our adventure in Mongolia, you'll know that showers were a luxury we didn't have access to while on horseback. This adventure is designed to give you a similar experience, meaning in the wild we'll shower in cold rivers. But don't worry - this will be part of the fun! Biodegradable shampoo will be provided.
We're out in nature - so we can't provide unlimited electricity supply. We'll bring some solar panels and power banks to charge essential devices, but we'll need to ration our battery use. Feel free to bring your own as well. Every few days, a car will meet us at the campsite, and you can hand over your power bank to the driver to charge it.
We’ll have a local chef with us, preparing fresh, regional meals along the way. Vegetarian and vegan options are absolutely welcome. Meals will be simple - we’re mostly camping, after all. When staying in yurts, you’ll enjoy traditional Kyrgyz dishes. We live with nature, not against it: we drink filtered river water and use purification tablets when needed.
Safety is our top priority. Helmets are mandatory and extra back protection is available. Our local team knows the mountains and their horses inside out and we’re prepared for emergencies or if you feel unwell. Travel health insurance is required and as this is an adventure trip, you’ll need to sign a liability disclaimer.
Not only will you connect with fellow travelers and with us, but most importantly: with yourself. This trip gives you space to slow down and reflect. We create a safe, welcoming environment for like-minded people, including LGBTIQ adventurers. To help with this, all participants complete a short application form before the trip, ensuring everyone can fully enjoy the experience.
This is a long-distance horse trek across mountains - mostly steady riding, with only a hand full of gallops. If you’re looking for racing, this might not be the trip for you. Beginners and experienced riders are welcome! Beginners need at least 5 prior riding lessons. Our horses are well-trained and gentle and we will make sure that you'll get your perfect match.
This is a digital detox trip. We encourage you to fully embrace being disconnected. We won't have internet connection in most parts. However, we'll have some connection at the top of mountain passes, where you can send a quick update to your family if needed.

01. DAY
Welcome to Kyrgyzstan! After your arrival in Bishkek, you’ll be transferred to our hotel. We gather for a welcome lunch, get to know each other, and start getting excited for the adventure ahead. In the afternoon, we explore Bishkek’s bazaars and squares before enjoying a traditional Kyrgyz dinner. Optional: a visit to a small, nostalgic Soviet amusement park. Accommodation: shared rooms in a hotel.
02. DAY
We drive to Kyzart village near Song Kul Lake. Depending on your tour date, this is either the starting or ending point of our one-way trek. Here we meet our horses, pack our gear into saddlebags, and head out for a short introductory ride to get comfortable in the saddle. We spend the night in a guesthouse or, depending on the trip, already in tents. Tomorrow, we ride into the wild!
03. - 09. DAY
From here on, it’s just us, the horses, and the mountains. We ride 5–6 hours a day through wide valleys and over mountain passes, crossing rivers and camping under open skies. Life becomes simple and beautifully slow. Some nights we sleep in tents, other nights we stay with local families in their yurts, sharing traditional Kyrgyz meals and even showering in rivers. It’s less about where we are and more about how it feels to move through nature on horseback.
09. DAY
It’s never easy to leave the mountains, though a hot shower is calling. We drive back to Bishkek and gather for one final dinner to celebrate our journey and relive the best moments together. Accommodation: shared rooms in a hotel.
10. DAY
The day has come - time to say goodbye! We’ll enjoy a final breakfast together at the hotel before parting ways. Airport transfer is included on the official departure day.
